Layout

•	8 foundation piles (across top) - build up in suit from Ace to King.

•	5 cells (left side) - storage locations for cards. Only 1 card allowed in each cell. The card is available for play on the foundations or tableau. At the start of the game 1 card is dealt face up to each cell.

•	9 tableau piles (below foundations) - build down by alternate color. Move groups of cards if they are in sequence down by alternate color. Fill spaces with any card or legal group of cards. At the start of the game 11 cards are dealt face up to each pile.

History

Replace is a difficult variation of Repair, a two deck variation of FreeCell.
